As 2027 general elections draws nearer, some of the leading nyanza region governors might fail to secure their second term in office hence serving only one term where they could try their lack later on like in the 2032 elections. Some of this governors include;
1. Siaya County governor James Orengo might fail to secure back his seat after details shows that their is stiff competition and rifht now Hon. Dr. William Oduol is leading in Siaya popularity as he is likely to be elected as the next governor of the larger Siaya county.
The second one is the Migori governor Dr. Ochilo Ayacko who also faces off with other key and potential leaders like Hon. Mark Nyamita who has declared interest in making the governor a one term governor.
This among other key governors who might be facing stiff competition from their opponents. It’s a matter of time if these governors will win the next elections and serve for a second term or they will be defeated.
