Residents of Bomet County are grappling with the sudden and unexplained death of Steve, popularly known as Bendera.
According to his wife, she discovered his lifeless body upon returning from the bathroom, leaving many unanswered questions about the circumstances surrounding his demise.
Neighbours have shed light on a troubling incident that occurred hours before his death. They reported that Bendera’s wife had locked him inside their shop and took the key with her for about an hour.
Alfred Pacha, a local hardware store worker, witnessed the couple arguing before the wife left, prompting neighbours to intervene and unlock the shop to release Bendera .
Further details emerged when Bendera’s wife recounted the events leading up to his death. She mentioned that he had been advised by a doctor to avoid alcohol due to health concerns but had consumed it nonetheless.
While she was taking a shower, she heard a loud thud and found him collapsed on the floor. Some residents believe that his condition may have contributed to the incident .
