Kisii county Governor Honourable Simba Arati. Has stood firm and sent a message to the former Deputy President and DCP party leader Honourable Geoffrey Rigathi Gachagua over the politics of Kisii County.
While addressing the residents of Kisii county by saying that there is no way an outsider can come forward and disrupt the politics of Kisii county.
“The same way we respect you, we are also demanding the same respect back as a community. I do not see the reason why some few individuals can just come forward and try to divide the Abagusii over their own selfish political motives. We are not going to buy such kind of political move.” Said Simba Arati to Rigathi Gachagua
Rigathi Gachagua has been using every possible means to get support across the Nation. Using his DCP party. Gachagua has faced backlash over the allegations of tribalism. And this is something that has actually tainted a bad image about Gachagua.
According to Simba Arati’s satisfied sentiments, a true leader is that who considers the interests of a common Mwananchi.
“We cannot be busy traversing the Nation with tribal politics. As a Nation we have a lot to deal, and also solve the co-existing socio-economic problems facing the common Mwananchi.” Said Arati
Is Rigathi Gachagua a Tribalist? This is a question lingering into the minds of those who keenly follow up the politics of this great Nation.
Chances are that Gachagua is a Tribalist because he has been addressing grievances facing the larger Mount Kenya instead of the whole Nation.
