DCP Nairobi Patron, Irungu Nyakera, says President William Ruto has not succeeded in his alleged mission to silence dissenting voices.
This comes at a time when Ruto has managed to woo some of his former critics, led by ODM leader Raila Odinga, by bringing them into government.
Nyakera says though he has done this, he has not managed to silence the biggest threat to his reelection bid; DCP party leader Rigathi Gachagua.
According to the former Transport Principal Secretary, Ruto still has a tough task of managing Gachagua, who is about to remove him from office through the one term call.
“He has managed to silence these loud critics… but how will he deal with the most lethal one – the truthful man about to deliver WANTAM?” he says on X.
Gachagua has disclosed plans to run against Ruto in 2027, after being impeached from office as Ruto’s deputy last year.
