Mohamed Salah has surprised fans by naming Arsenal as his top pick to win the Premier League title in the 2025/26 season.
In a recent interview with Sky Sports, the Liverpool star explained why he believes the Gunners are best positioned to lift the trophy—despite playing for Liverpool and Manchester City being the defending champions.
This isn’t the first time Salah has backed Arsenal. Earlier in the year, while receiving his PFA Player of the Year award, he also tipped them as the strongest contenders.
In the latest interview, he doubled down on his view, saying Arsenal’s long-term squad stability gives them a major advantage.
“I said they’re the favourites because they have a team that has played together for five, six years. So they understand each other’s game and they also have a manager with the team for the same period.
When a squad sticks together for that long, they develop great chemistry and it becomes easier for them,” Salah said.
He also praised Arsenal’s progress over the past few seasons, noting their back-to-back runner-up finishes and the experience they’ve gained.
With new summer signings boosting squad depth and hunger within Mikel Arteta’s camp, Salah believes Arsenal now have the tools to challenge seriously.
If his prediction comes true, Arsenal fans could finally celebrate their first Premier League title since the famous “Invincibles” season of 2003/04.
