Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka has claimed that President William Ruto has been trying to woo him to join his side ahead of the approaching general polls.
Kalonzo says he has been invited to be part of the Broad-based government, which brings together President Ruto and ODM boss, Raila Odinga.
He, however, has said he won’t accept this offer, because he doesn’t support the happenings being witnessed under Ruto’s rule, including alleged killings.
“We’ve been invited to join the Broadbased government, but we have refused. We cannot ride on the blood of our children,” the former Vice President is quoted by The People Daily.
Kalonzo bashed Ruto for offering to pay for those killed in anti-government protests rather than publicly apologising to their families and the nation.
He also cited names himself and his fellow Azimio la Umoja leaders were called after losing to Ruto, claiming that those on the government side insulted them.
