President William Ruto is reported to have received a huge relief and boost since the removal of DCP leader Rigathi Gachagua as his deputy.
Taifa Leo reports that Ruto’s new Deputy, Kithure Kindiki, has brought with him wisdom into the presidency, helping Ruto serve better and improve on service delivery.
The paper further states that contrary to what Gachagua offered, which was largely combative politics, Kindiki is humble and willing to take instructions from the Head of State.
Kindiki is reported to be Ruto’s new Mr Fix-it and is trusted with coming up with brilliant ideas during cabinet meetings, which help with the development of better strategies.
Political analyst Dismas Mokua says Kindiki is the solution Ruto needed because unlike Gachagua, he can balance between politics and state work.
“For the president to oversee revolution in his government, he needs someone who can balance between politics and service delivery,” he says.
