Veronica Muhale, a 40-year-old woman, has been accused of severing her husband’s private part during a violent domestic dispute on September 19, 2025.
The shocking incident took place in their home, leaving the local community in disbelief and concern over the lasting effects of such violence.
Prior to this brutal act, Veronica’s daughter revealed that her mother had made an earlier attempt to poison her father.
A few months ago, Veronica ordered rat poison with the intention of harming him, but the plot failed.
On the day of the attempted poisoning, the daughter was in the kitchen when her mother handed her a special cup to serve milk to her father.
Unaware of her mother’s intentions, the daughter recalled, “I poured the milk into the cup, and she seemed anxious but did nothing.”
The situation escalated dramatically during an argument over allegations of infidelity.
In a fit of rage, Veronica used a sharp knife, which she had hidden under her mattress, to attack her husband.
The severity of the injury has raised alarms within the community, with many residents expressing their shock and concern for the victim’s future.
A local leader stated, “This is something abnormal. The injury caused by his wife will stay with him for life.”
After the attack, Veronica fled to a nearby police station seeking protection from angry neighbors.
She was subsequently arrested and is now facing serious charges.
The husband, whose name has not been disclosed, was found in critical condition, and his severed private part was discovered nearby.
Community members quickly came together to help, placing the severed part in a container and rushing him to Manyara Regional Hospital for urgent medical treatment.
The incident has sparked discussions about domestic violence and its devastating impacts, especially on families with children.
Many in the community are expressing sympathy for the victim, while also calling for greater awareness and prevention of such violent actions.
“We need to address the underlying issues that lead to such extreme behavior,” one resident commented.
