Kenyan Forex trader, popularly known as Kenyan Prince, has stirred online debate with his blunt message to young people about financial ambition and lifestyle goals.
In a viral post, the trader said that anyone earning less than Ksh50,000 per month and relying on that income for life should “forget about driving a Mercedes GLE” or aspiring to own multiple luxury cars.
He emphasized that with such an income, the dream of wealth and financial freedom remains far-fetched, warning that the only thing one would be “waiting for is death.”
Kenyan Prince, known for his flashy lifestyle and controversial money-talk videos, said that financial growth requires risk-taking, smart investments, and scaling beyond comfort zones.
While some fans praised his brutal honesty, saying it was a wake-up call for complacent youth, others criticized him for being insensitive to the struggles of ordinary Kenyans who face a high cost of living and limited job opportunities.
His statement has sparked a broader conversation about financial literacy, ambition, and realistic goal setting, with many asking whether Kenyan society unfairly glamorizes wealth while ignoring the structural barriers that keep millions in poverty.
