
Police in Seme, Kisumu County are investigating the death of a 12-year-old boy who was allegedly burnt to death by his mother for allegedly stealing ksh 150.
A report by RAMOGI Fm has revealed that the suspect allegedly poured gas on the body of the deceased before burning him in an incident that left the residents of Kombewa in shock.
The body of the deceased was taken to the mortuary by Police officers who visited the scene of the incident after being alerted by the residents, the suspect was immediately arrested and taken into custody.
Kenyans on Facebook sent their condolences to the family and friends of the deceased, they also called upon the Police to conduct a mental evaluation test in order to establish if the woman was in her right state of mind.
This is happening at the same time when Police in Nairobi are investigating the death of a woman who died after allegedly falling from the 5th floor of an apartment in Kilimani.
The deceased who has been identified as Zaituni Kavaya is reported to have died in unclear Circumstances, her employer’s son claimed that she had stolen ksh 5, 000 from a trouser she had washed.
When confronted, she allegedly fled and jumped over the Bulcon, fell and died. The daughter, Faith Kavaya dismissed reports claiming that her mother was a thief.
She went on to say that she found ksh 160 in her mother’s purse that is currently in the hands of the detectives from the directorate of criminal investigations in Kilimani.
This is happening at the same time when several suspects who were in the house were arrested after it was established that she had been hit with a blunt object.
