TikTok star and radio host Azziad Nasenya has faced public scrutiny after her upscale Kileleshwa apartment was listed for auction due to an outstanding mortgage.
In response to widespread speculation and online comments, Azziad shared a video on her social media platforms.
In the video, she humorously prepares tea, stating, “You wanted tea, here is tea, but remember, never let the tea get cold, drink it while it’s hot.”
The auction notice, scheduled for October 8, 2025, at the Jeevan Bharati Building in Nairobi, pertains to her four-bedroom apartment at Platinum Oak Residency.
The property, valued between KSh 24.5 million and KSh 29.5 million, was reportedly put up for sale by Okuku Agencies Auctioneers after Azziad defaulted on a KSh 25 million mortgage.
Azziad’s sarcastic response has garnered mixed reactions online. While some commend her for handling the situation with humor, others urge her to address the underlying financial issues more seriously.
The incident has sparked discussions about the pressures and challenges faced by public figures in managing personal finances.
