
The Kenyan High Court issued a warrant of arrest against a former British soldier accused of killing 21-year-old Agnes Wanjiru whose body was found in a septic tank
Sources have confirmed that the suspect who has been identified as Robert Purkiss was working with the BATUK soldiers in Nanyuki where he met with the deceased.
The two allegedly went into a room before Agnes went missing under unclear Circumstances. She was last seen with him.
Her body was later found in a septic tank, an incident that caught the attention of her family who called for the arrest of the suspects who were involved in the murder of their loved one.
After killing the deceased, the suspect went back to his country where he served as a soldier for 2 years. After being contacted, this is what the British High Commission had to say.
Over 10 years after the incident, the court ruled that the suspect killed the deceased, it asked the government of Britain to extradite the suspect back to Kenya.
The new ruling caught the attention of several Kenyans who took to their different social media platforms to send their condolences to the family and friends of the deceased, they also thanked the court for issuing this ruling.
According to the reports given by most Kenyans, the suspect should be brought back to the country as soon as possible, face justice.
