Leaders from the Gusii community have spoken strongly ahead of the ODM rally at Gusii Stadium tomorrow.
ODM’s planned rally is very important because ODM is celebrating 20 years since the party started.
The leaders warned that some people are planning to shout “wantam” chants during the rally to disturb the event.
Anybody who wants to bring noise and chaos has been asked to stay at home.

They told people that the stadium is not a place for troublemakers.
Everyone has been reminded that ODM has a right to celebrate peacefully. They also said that Gusii land must be known for peace and respect.
The leaders explained that ODM is one of the biggest parties in Kenya and that the party has helped many leaders rise in politics.
They said the rally should be a happy celebration and not a fight.
The leaders also talked about Dr. Fred Matiang’i who comes from Gusii land.
Since Matiang’i announced his presidential dream, the ground has been hostile to ODM and UDA.
They told people to remember that Matiang’i will also want to hold rallies in other places in Kenya.
They said when that time comes, Matiang’i will want a warm welcome from people in other regions.
They asked Gusii people to show the same respect to ODM tomorrow.
They said ODM should be welcomed with joy even if not everybody supports it.
