Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim is still safe in his role, despite growing concerns over the team’s mixed start to the season. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has revealed that United’s owners, INEOS, are not currently considering a change in management.
Amorim has faced criticism after United’s inconsistent form, defeats in the league, and an early EFL Cup exit at the hands of Grimsby Town. However, Romano confirmed that no talks have been held with other managers, meaning the Portuguese boss continues to enjoy the backing of Sir Jim Ratcliffe and his leadership team.
INEOS invested heavily in the summer, bringing in Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo, Benjamin Sesko, and goalkeeper Senne Lammens. The squad has shown signs of improvement but still struggles with consistency, sitting in the Premier League standings.
A 2-1 victory over Chelsea has slightly eased pressure on Amorim, but upcoming fixtures will be crucial in determining whether United can mount a serious challenge this season.
