Police in Mpeketoni Lamu are investigating the death of a Form 1 student man whose body was found dumped in a Borehole.
According to the reports given by his family, the deceased who has been identified as Francis Ngugi went missing on September 10, 2025 forcing his family to launch a search for their loved one.
The father, Gabriel Ndichu who spoke about this incident revealed that they were informed about a stench smell coming from a Borehole, they later confirmed it was Ngugi.
“They treated him like an animal and after killing him, they took his clothes off, tied him up with a rope and threw his body in the Borehole. He had several injuries in his body”
Residents who spoke about the murder of the victim stated that he was abducted by a group of suspects who tortured him for sometime before they decided to kill him. They went on to say that his eyes were gouged out due to the fact that he had allegedly identified the suspects who dumped his body in a Borehole in a plantation.
His body was taken to the mortuary by Police officers who visited the scene of the incident after being alerted by the residents who also claimed that this was not the first incident.
They recounted a recent incident where a girl was allegedly raped and killed, no suspect was arrested.
This is happening at the same time when Police in Homabay are investigating the death of a Mary Teresa, 13, who was found murdered hours after being reported missing.
The deceased went missing under unclear Circumstances while heading home for Lunch, her body was recovered Near her home in a bushy area, an incident that caught led to the arrest of two suspects.
