A young beauty influencer and nurse has died only two days after her wedding, leaving her community in deep shock and sorrow.
Adna Rovčanin-Omerbegović, 26, had just celebrated what was supposed to be the happiest day of her life when tragedy struck.
According to Bosnian reports, she suddenly fell ill during her wedding reception in Sarajevo on Saturday, September 13.
Witnesses said she looked weak after exchanging vows and was quickly rushed to the hospital.
Doctors confirmed that Adna slipped into a coma while receiving treatment. Sadly, she passed away on Monday, September 15, just two days after her wedding.
Her sudden death has left her family, friends, and thousands of followers devastated.
Adna was more than an online personality. She worked as a nurse at the Old City Health Centre and also ran a beauty salon in Sarajevo.
Her passion for both healthcare and makeup made her admired by many. Friends described her as kind, warm-hearted, and always ready to help.
Her funeral was held on Wednesday, September 17, at the Mosque of Kobilja Glava.
Hundreds of mourners attended, filling the grounds as prayers were offered in her memory.
Many who knew her personally said it felt unreal to see someone so full of life being laid to rest just days after starting her marriage.
On social media, tributes poured in from across Bosnia and beyond.
Admirers remembered her as an inspiring young woman who balanced her nursing career with content creation.
“It’s hard to believe she was celebrating her wedding just yesterday, and today we are mourning her,” one mourner said.
Following her death, her wedding photos were widely shared online as a heartbreaking reminder of how quickly life can change.
Her social media accounts were later deactivated, but the memories of her laughter and creativity remain in the hearts of her fans.
Adna leaves behind her husband, four sisters, her parents, and a large extended family.
An autopsy was ordered to determine the exact cause of her sudden illness, though results were not immediately made public.
