Murang’a County – A man whose wife allegedly stabbed their three children at night, killing two, has shared a hopeful update about the only survivor.
The tragic incident unfolded when the woman reportedly attacked the children before waking her husband and telling him to “go bury them.” Two children died on the spot, while the third was rushed to Murang’a County Referral Hospital with injuries.
Speaking to journalists, the father said his surviving child is now stable, can talk, and is responding well to treatment. He dismissed claims that he was planning to marry another woman, insisting marital disagreements had been the source of conflict.
The mother later surrendered at Kanorero Police Station and is currently in custody as investigations continue.
Meanwhile, the grieving father has appealed for help in burying his two children, as shocked residents continue to call for mental health awareness and peaceful ways of resolving family disputes.
