
The National Police Service (NPS) is set to play a key role at the Nairobi International Trade Fair 2025, under the leadership of Inspector General of Police, Douglas Kanja.This year’s theme, “Promoting Climate-Smart Agriculture and Trade Initiatives for Sustainable Economic Growth.
The NPS exhibition stand will provide a detailed overview of the various units and services offered by the service.
These include Kenya Police Service, which focuses on public safety and security, Administration Police Service, responsible for protective, border security;
The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), which handles criminal intelligence, investigations; and the Internal Affairs Unit, which ensures accountability within the service.
Visitors will have the chance to interact with officers from specialized units, including the National Police Leadership Academy, Traffic Police, Diplomatic Police, DCI Anti-Narcotics, Tourist Police, and the Anti-Stock Theft Unit.
The popular Police K-9 unit will also be on display, providing an engaging and educational experience for attendees.
Additionally, NPS will offer on-site Police Clearance Certificates, previously known as Certificates of Good Conduct, with processing completed in just 24 hours.This service aims to make essential documentation more accessible to the public.
The NPS participation in the trade fair underscores its commitment to people-centered, accountable, and effective policing, while strengthening community engagement and awareness of its operations.
