
The President of Kenya, His Excellency, William Ruto has confirmed the death of 3 police officers who died in the ongoing operation in Haiti.
The President who was speaking in New York, United States of America first expressed his concern over the alleged 2nd hand vehicles the United States of America offered to Kenya Police who are in Haiti.
According to the reports given by the President, this vehicles have been breaking down in dangerous areas in Haiti, putting the lives of Police officers at Risk.
It is to be noted that the government of Kenya sent over 400 police officers to Haiti in Attempts to restore peace following the deaths of over 1000 civilians killed by Gangs.
The President also sent his condolences to the families and friends of Police officers, Samuel Kitwai, Benedict Kabiru and Kennedy Nzuve.
Sources have confirmed that Benedict Kennedy Nzuve died in a tragic road accident that left several other officers injured.
The announcement on the death of officer Kabiru, however caught the attention of his family who accused the government of lying to them about the condition of their son.
The deceased who was among the police officer who were sent to Haiti went missing under unclear Circumstances, a video that went viral on different social media platforms showed the gangs slapping the body of an alleged Kenya police claimed to be Kabiru.
The police responded to the video claiming that it had been generated by an AI, they also claimed that they were searching for the officer who had allegedly gone missing during a Police operation in Haiti.
