Former President Uhuru Kenyatta was a clueless drunkard who did not understand how to run and manage the country’s health system, according to President William Ruto’s economic advisor, David Ndii
In a scathing X post today, David Ndii reignited a political firestorm by sarcastically dubbing former President Uhuru Kenyatta “Mr. Clueless wa kutoa lock daily.”
The remark, posted amid ongoing debates about leadership styles, particularly on managing the health docket, suggests Uhuru relied heavily on competent CSs like Mutahi Kagwe to handle health crises, while Ruto relied on his friends, who cannot deliver.
The comment follows a thread by Timothy Turunga praising Uhuru’s cabinet, including Kagwe and George Magoha, for managing health and education effectively during his tenure.
Ndii’s jab contrasts this with Ruto’s hands-on approach. He believes that Ruto is talking about health matters daily because he understands what is going on, suggesting that Uhuru left the matter in the hands of the CSs because he was always drinking alcohol and had no clue what was happening in ministries.
The post has sparked backlash, with some users countering that Uhuru’s delegation preserved his statesman image, unlike Ruto’s frequent addresses.
